We start the blog with some Thai wiring - this is for you Ian Payne (our friend who is an electrician) - it is shocking out here!
We went to hot Bangkok for a weekend - the girls and I did the Grand Palace.
Went for a superb buffet in The Millenium with friends - Poppy's favourite part... (our favourite part was unlimited - decent wine!)
Fancy dress day at school!
Sports Day - bizarrely doing sack races, and egg and spoon?! Girls both ran as well - all good stuff - in boiling heat!
We went back to Ko Samet for a weekend with lovely friends Nick and Lu

Poppy and Amber have now 'done the dentist' - all good - managed to get Ian there too. Just had 2 hours doing root canal treatment - not nice!

Well as you can see I haven't blogged for too long - apologies I will try and do it sooner next time! Life as you can see is good and starting to feel more normal now - the kids are really settling in - Amber today has gone away to an Animal Shelter for 3 days (gulp!) and Poppy is doing daily activities for Round Square Week at school!
On the home front.... Ian has created a fantastic driftwood bar, I have finally made the curtains and it is more like home! (apart from having to fling cockroaches out over the balcony every now and then!)
